Wisconsin Health Insurance Panel on Exchanges

Four of the largest health insurers in Wisconsin, state that the private health insurance exchanges set to be rolled out this fall under the Affordable Care Act, or more commonly known as Obamacare are potentially filled with uncertainty.

During a panel discussion earlier this month, they also stated that problems should work themselves out over the months and years after the Wisconsin health insurance exchange is rolled out.

The panel, which was hosted by Wisconsin Health News was comprised of leaders from Dean Health, Physicians Plus Insurance, WPS Health Insurance and WEA Trust.

Mike Hamerlik, WPS president stated that there is demand for healthcare services and it’s hard to tell what the impact will be and how well the Affordable Care Act will function.
